What makes Historic West Town so great

Located just north of I-40 and Charlotte Pike on the west side of downtown Nashville, Historic West Town is one of the most rapidly changing neighborhoods in the city. With easy access to downtown, especially the hospital district, the neighborhood is appealing to a wave of new infill home buyers. New cottage style homes are paired with the historic folk Victorian and bungalow homes of the area to create active urban blocks with the neighborhood. The rejuvenation of Sylvan Park, Murphy Road, and now Charlotte Pike has enticed new residents, restaurants, and shops to this western corridor. The iconic Bobbies Dairy Dip has new neighbors like Hattie B's, Miel, Porter Road Butcher, and M.L. Rose, attracting all types of diners. In front of the award winning McCabe Community Center, the new Murphy Road round-a-bout will be surrounded by great restaurants, including the existing Local Taco and Caffe Nonna as well as the announced Edley's BBQ and Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream. New retail spaces, like the planned H.G. Hill center, and the recently opened FLIP burger and Beer Pale on Charlotte Pike will continue to transform this area.
